If you are one of the seller at Ebay, then you have a good news today, it’s about Ebay insertion fees, as Ebay has promoted their services about the insertion fees for a seller. The seller will get 5 listing free of charge of the insertion fee each 30 days, valid from June 16, 2009. Here are the terms and conditions:
1. Auction-style submitted through the standard Sell Your Item or Simple listing form will eligible for new pricing which includes:
- 5 Free Insertion Fees every 30 days, regardless of start price* of the item.
- The $0.00 insertion Fee listings will have a Final Value Fee per listing of 8.75% or $20, whichever is lower.
- Current Insertion Fees and Final Value Fees will apply to additional listings within the 30 day period.
2. Any auction list Starting or Reserve Price from:
- $0.01 – $0.09 free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $0.10**/$0.15
- $1.00 – $9.99 free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $0.25**/$0.35
- $10.00 – $24.99 free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $0.30**/$0.55
- $25.00 – $49.99 free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $1
- $50.00 – $199.99 free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $2
- $200.00 – $499.99 free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $3
- $500.00 or more free of insertion fee, additional listing every 30 days $0.10**/$4
**Includes the following media categories and the related subcategories: Books, Music, DVDs & Movies, and Video Games (Video Game Systems was not included)
3. Final Value Fees for Auction-style listings effective June 16, 2009, for any auction list Starting or Reserve Price from:
- $0.01 – $25.00 will cost $20 or 8.75% of the closing value for the first 5 listings and more every 30 days.
- $25.01 – $1000.00 will cost $20 or 8.75% of the closing value for the first 5 listings every 30 days. And for more listings will cost 8.75% of the initial $25.00, plus 3.5% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 – $1,000.00)
- Equal to or over $1,000.01 will cost $20 or 8.75% of the closing value for the first 5 listings every 30 days. And for more listings will cost 8.75% of the initial $25.00, plus 3.50% of the initial $25.01 – $1,000.00 plus 1.5% of the remaining closing value balance ($1,000.01 – closing value)
*Excludes items with a Start/Buy It Now/Reserve price of $18 million and above.

If you are an active Seller which selling over 10 items or more over each 30 days, i think the above news is not a good news but a bad news ever, as you have to pay more fees to handle 5 list free insertion fees. But it should be a good news for those who selling on Ebay only for a couple items each months. I hope that’s not as what i said. But i just want to say, good job Ebay.
