So you have many plan today, preparing a Vacation, Traveling, Dating, etc., But suddenly you cancel all the plan, of course it’s not coming from your mind but the weather is. I hope it’s just a narration only, not a real story. The following application may help for those who have many plan, but won’t to let them fail caused by miss-information about the weather.
It’s called The Weather Channel Desktop, a desktop application which provides all information about the weather of your local region. This application is a free software which is allowing us to download the application, but come with a compensation of banner products installed on it. When you have installed the application, it will appear in the tray bar, and showing you the temperature of your city.
The Weather Channel Desktop will provide more details information when you double-click to the Weather Channel’s icon tray, you will find any information like:
- Humidity Percentage
- Pressure Measurement
- Wind Speed and Direction
- Visibility Distance
- Sunrise and Sunset Time
- Also you can change the temperature scale from Fahrenheit to Celsius, setup alert service for the weather or a clock, customize theme, and much more features.
Moreover, on the left side you will find a navigation menu, which is providing the following information:
- Maps and Traffic, which provided any information about local traffic and map.
- Extended Forecasts is about 12 hours up to 10 days later.
- Driving and Travel, which provides information about driving and business travel.
Unfortunately, The Weather Channel Desktop has limited service, it’s only available for any users who lived in United States. Good luck to try!
