If you are confious about how to buying laptop, then I can understand since there are many laptop over the market which has many features and capabilities. However we can make a standard measurement about how to choose the best notebook for our needs, as like as the following information:
Business Notebook
Usually it’s desidgned for a business man and entrepreneurs, the feature keys of this laptop are a portable or mobility unit i.e: light weight; good in security i.e.: finger print apps; and fast in responsive i.e.:high class processor;. They are 3 points that can not to be devided for this business laptop.
Student Netbook
The feature keys of this netbook are has a cheap price, standard features, i.e.: bluetooth, wi-fi, webcam, USB port, card reader slot;. Usually they have standard screen measurement and weight.
Gaming Notebook
Generally it’s coming with a large screen, as the standard screen is 15.4 inches. Also with the weight, it’s little bit more weight. The feature keys are in the processor’s performance and the Video Graphic Card (VGA) performance. The price of these Notebook is very expensive, since the specifications are very high. If you think playing a game in Notebook are very important, then the price will not very important for you.
Make sure you are knowing the specification of the notebook you want to buy. If you think that the words like “Core 2 Duo”, “Centrino”, “Pentium 4″, and “Pentium Celeron” are habit for you. Then you have knew about the basic of notebook knowledge.
It was common knowledge that almost all notebooks can not replace the VGA nor processor. Therefore, it’s important for you to make sure that the specification of the laptop is meet your needs. You can read the following information:
1. Processor speed
The measurement is in Giga Hertz (GHz). Mostly, the higher of the GHz the higher speed of your processor. i.e.: CPU 3 GHz will be more faster than CPU 2 GHz.
Take a look at your CPU, the newer its technology, the more faster your CPU to process. i.e.: Pentium 4 3.0GHz has the same speed as the Pentium Centrino 1.3 GHz. The new technology of processor such as: Pentium Centrino, Pentium M and Core Duo; have avantages in speed and efficiency of battery consumption.
2. Memory (RAM)
Memory is not an important thing to choose any Laptops, since they have 2 slots inside, so that we can upgrade the memory anytime we want to.
3. Video Graphic Card (VGA)
If you are a gamer, you should not to buy a laptop with onboard VGA. Do not been lulled with any offer which give you a huge Memory (RAM) as it’s not work when you play the 3D games on your Computer. Make sure you buy the Notebook which has ATI or Radeon VGA inside.
4. Warranty
It’s after sales services you must have to review which kind of vendor give you the best after sales services. Do not buy any computer without any warranty even if the price will be under the market.
Make sure the warranty of service is free of charge at least 1 year, unless you need to replace some component, all notebook vendor will charge for those replacement, and it’s usually after 3 – 6 months you can replace the component without need to pay.
PS: Do not ever to buy any refurbishes Notebook or Laptop.
