		<description>It depends what you&#039;re trying to achieve.  (I assume you&#039;re asking if Windows itself will load etc).

That also depends on how different the two machines are.  If they&#039;re identical, then the answer will probably be yes, it will work.

If the machines are similar, it may or may not work as you will have drivers installed for #1 machine, not #2 machine.  It might work, but it might not.

If the machines are vastly different, you&#039;d be lucky if it worked.  The answer there is probably no, it won&#039;t.

Saying that, if you wanted to just use the drive in another machine &amp; format it &amp; re-install Windows, then yes, you could do that.

As above re: your new comment on it&#039;s new motherboard etc.  

To copy your files over though, you could Slave the drive to the other machine &amp; transfer the files off in that way, so, Yes!  That would work if you want to go down that route!</description>
