Earlier, Woods’ wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren, was reported to have moved out of the Isleworth, Fla. Home yesterday (Dec. 7) and has moved to another house in nearby Orlando.
Nordegren also recently purchased a $2.6 million home on a remote island in Sweden, touching off speculation that she may eventually move there with her two children by Woods. She has not commented.
In another key development, police in Florida have come under question for failing to examine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in Wood’s early morning Nov. 25 car crash, which triggered the scandal. It followed a report in the National Enquirer that Woods was having an affair with Hamptons party girl Rachel Uchitel.
TheImproper raised questions about possible drug use at the time, because of the nature of the crash. Police attempted to seek a search warrant of Woods’ hospital records, but a local prosecutor denied it for lack of evidence, and police never followed up.
Nordegren told police that Woods had been drinking and had prescriptions for Vicodin, a powerful sedative and Ambien, a sleep aid that he allegedly used during sex with Uchitel.
All of these developments come as the number alleged Tiger mistresses who have come forward rose to 10, according to various reports.
Nordegren reportedly became enraged when it was reported that Woods had slept with porn star Holly Sampson and Las Vegas “hostess” Jamie Jungers, with whom she bears a resemblance.
According to Orlando-based television station WESH, the adult female was taken from the $2.6 million mansion “on advanced life support” after firefighters received a call at 2:36 a.m.
A radio log showed an adult female was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla., WESH reported. The station aired footage of a woman on a stretcher being removed from an ambulance by emergency officials.
A black Cadillac Escalade was seen at the hospital shortly after the ambulance arrived, WESH reported. WESH’s Web site described the driver as a blonde woman, which might possibly have been Nordegren.
The patient at Woods’ home had initially refused to be treated, creating confusion over whether more than one emergency call was placed from Woods’ residence, according to MSNBC.
