Internet on Nintendo Dsi
For those who want to connect their Nintendo Dsi game console through internet instead of playing games or take a picture and more. Today i will tell you about another feature of the Nintendo Dsi that is able to connect to internet. You can use it like a PC or a Laptop very well, browsing, chating and download a music via Nintendo Dsi, so you can play a music through your game console. It’s not only Play Station 3 that can connect to internet, so you will have more choices when you want to buy Nintendo, Wii or PS3.
Ok, now what you need to connect the Nintendo Console to internet? Just follow the following instruction :
- You must have an internet connection.
- After turn on the Nintendo Dsi, go to Setting menu on the wrench icon.
- Go to page 3 then select “Internet”. Click the “Connection Settings”.
- Then Click “None” to the right of “Connection 1″, then click “Search for an Access Point”.
- Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected. If you are planning on playing games online with your Nintendo DSi and have WPA security, you will have to set your router to WEP security. To do this, get back to the “Connection Settings” screen mentioned in step 3. Click “Advanced Setup”. Click any button that says “none”. Click “Search for an Access Point”. Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected.
Well, in fact DSi will not do WPA. I just had to change all of my computers and router in my home to WPA because the iTouch uses that. So it looks as though you can’t have the Nintendo DSi and the iTouch in the same router.
