In fact there is no problem with your Blackberry bluetooth if you want to receive any files from another phone device via bluetooth, but there is a few steps to do that. What you need to do is follow the following instruction :
First Step
- Go to Manage Connection on your Blackberry menu
- Select the Bluetooth option to activate it
- Then scroll down and select Bluetooth Option
- Click the menu button on your Blackberry phone and select Options
- Enable the Discoverable menu for Bluetooth
- Save it
Second Step
- Enable both Bluetooth on the Sender and Recipient phone.
- On the Blackberry, you need to activate the bluetooth again by go to Manage Connection
- Select Set Up Bluetooth and click Search
- Select the discovered phone device and create the security keyphrase for your Bluetooth connection
- You need to allow the bluetooth connection between sender and recipient phone by selecting ‘Yes/Accept’ on both of them.
- Enter the same security keyphrase
- Then you should see the text message “Connect to…” then press OK.
Third Step :
- On the recipient phone (Blackberry), you need to go to Media, select Music/Video depend on the file you want to receive. Then you need to select Blackberry menu button, and select “Receive Using Bluetooth”
- Then you will see the text message “Waiting for Connection…”
- On the Sender’s cell phone, you can start to transfer the files to Blackberry via Bluetooth.
