Wifi Hotspot in WIndows 7

This time we will try to make an Access Point from Wireless Hotspot with low-cost and efficiently, without bother to buy any new wireless device. Before Windows 7, you were able to build an Ad-hoc wireless network. However, not all of the devices are able to makes it. With this Windows 7, now you can build a cheap wireless hotspot with an Access Point.
With this method you will only neeed an internal/external wireless network card on your Notebook or PC and no require any additional devices. However, you can create this cheap hotspot but the signal coverage will absolutely not strengh as the real hotspot, i mean you can use the wireless network only around in your home, not more than it. So that, i will suggest this for those who need cheap wireless hotspot in their home or small office.
You need to folllow the following instruction to make your Windows 7 as a Hotspot with the Access Point :
1. You need to update the wireless driver of your laptop or PC with the new version especially for Windows 7. Usually, the laptop’s manufacturer have provide them, but not all of them. I hope you are the lucky one. In this case i used Acer Notebook 4935G series, that have include the wireless driver Intel Pro/Wireless version 12.4.1.11. These driver does not support Access Point, so i need to download the new version of the wireless driver from the Intel website. To check if your wireless card support an Access Point feature, you can go to http://www.connectify.me/docs/supportedcards.html.
2. You need to download free application software to http://www.connectify.me/upgrade/index.html. This application will help you to utilize your wireless card’s access point feature of your laptop, and makes your laptop as an access point of wireless hotspot. After downloading the application, you need to install it first.
3. Follow the instruction of usage provided by Easy Setup Wizard on the freeware Connectify. In this setup’s process you will be referred to build your new wireless hotspot connection. Next, you just need to create a username and password, then you are ready to run the hotspot. The following picture, showing you about the freeware Connectify display wizard.
