Video Call Skype on Nokia N900
The new firmware PR1.2 Nokia N900 has attended a few moments ago. One of the features of this firmware is to enable a video call on Skype. Consequently the user not only can enjoy the standart services of VoIP call. But the Features of video call can be made between two Nokia N900 or N900 with a PC. Of course for those who usually use the Skype feature must have to try this. The usage of this Skype video call is not difficult. The user only need to push the camera button on the Nokia N900 screen to activate the front camera, and it’s done.
Unfortunately the front camera N900 not too light-sensitive. So the user have to get enough light so that his face can be seen. When we try the front camera, the light of the office fluorescent lamp was not enough to get the exposure.
Here are five easy steps to activate it:
1. Activate Skype account on the Nokia N900. Go to Settings> VoIP and IM Accounts. Select ‘New’ and ‘Skype’.
2. When Skype account is ready, select Availability mode ‘online’.
3. Go to the contact, and select one of your friends that their Skype account active. Make sure that your friends activate the latest version of the Skype.
4. Select Skype video-call.
5. If we interact with other users through N900 video call, they will be able to see us. We also can turn off the camera that appears, to hide our faces.
