We have quoted some cell phones which have long lifetime battery from cnet.com, so that for those who want to buy any cellular phone that have great battery life then you should read the rest of this review quoted from cnet.com.
Battery life is one of the most important factors to consider when buying a cell phone. No matter how flashy a handset may be and how many cool features it may offer, it won’t be worth much if the battery runs out too quickly.
Fortunately, CNET performs talk time battery life tests on every handset that we review. Though manufacturers provide promises on battery life, real-world testing is a much better guideline. Here is a selection of recent cell phones that lasted more than 7 hours in CNET’s talk time tests.
Leading the way is the unlocked HTC Legend. It clocks in with 12.75 hours of battery life–an impressive feat for a smartphone. And speaking of smartphones, two Verizon Wireless managed to impress The Motorola Droid X went 7.4 hours before needing a recharge and the LG Fathom offered 7.38 hours of juice. Verizon’s LG Ally just made it over the 7-hour mark with 7.05 hours of talk time, and U.S. Cellular’s Samsung Acclaim was just behind with 7.02 hours.
HTC Legend – silver
With its design improvements and feature enhancements, the HTC Legend is a worthy upgrade from the Hero and one of the most solid and well-built Android phones we’ve seen in its class. We can only hope that a North American version is released soon.
Motorola Droid X (Verizon Wireless)
The Motorola Droid X makes another fine addition to Verizon’s Android family, bringing with it a rich multimedia experience and more connectivity features.
LG Fathom (Verizon Wireless)
The LG Fathom is a well-built Windows Mobile phone with plenty of features, but its occasional lapse in performance can be annoying.
LG Ally (Verizon Wireless)
With its solid design and great features, the LG Ally is an affordable and welcome addition to the Android family.
Samsung Acclaim (U.S. Cellular)
The Samsung Acclaim is a pretty good Android phone for those on a budget, but we were disappointed with the keyboard and call quality.
