Garmin, what a best Global Positioning System OS i have ever seen, comes with voice navigation makes this GPS OS more likely a robot. However, sometime we want to make a different change on our GPS application, such as changing the language or changing the voice guide etc. Talking about installing new voices on our Garmin gadget, today we will try to install new voices on Garmin 225 portable GPS unit. The default voices can be a bit dull at times, and nothing has the potential to put a smile on your face like downloading new voices to guide you on your daily commute. All of the installation is done on the Garmin site, so it is safe, secure and convenient.
Well all you have to do will be explained on the following guide. However you must prepare the USB cable or flash memory before try to install new voices on Garmin 225 portable devices.

  1. Plug a USB cable or the SD card from your GPS into your computer.
  2. Install the Garmin Communicator.
  3. Navigate your way to the Garmin Voice page.
  4. Find the voice, or voices that you’d like to install, and select “Install Voice.”
  5. Select “Settings” on your Garmin 225.
  6. Select “Language.”
  7. Select “Voice.”
  8. Choose your favorite voice and select “OK.”
