- Uncheck the Use Autoplay for all media and devices , then click Save
- Go to Start Menu > Search and type Run on the search bar, then Enter. Type gpedit.msc on the Run mode and press Enter.
- On the Local Group Policy Editor click twice Turn off Autoplay
- Select Enable to disable Autoplay feature
After following the above steps you should to try by plug the external media storage to your PC, you can use USB Flash drive or External HDD drive, CD ROM drive etc. Then you will see that the Autoplay feature has not working anymore.
