This is the wide screen of HP Pavilion new generation for latptop PC, the 17.3″ laptop’s LED widescreen display, comes with high-definition movie playback. With an Intel dual-core processor inside, 4GB memory and 320GB hard drive, it allows you to manage everyday computing tasks with an efficient approach. Get online more quickly with Windows 7 and high-speed wireless LAN, or create personalized DVD and CD labels on LightScribe-enabled discs with the LightScribe DVD burner. This wide-screen notebook is suitable for those who likes a huge screen size, this model comes with a 6-cell battery, HP part number EV06. You can purchase additional batteries, either the EV06 or a 12-cell battery for this laptop, HP part number EV12. The EV12 is larger than the EV06, so it sticks out a bit from the back of the laptop.

Here are the differences between the HP models G71-349WX and G71-340US:

Price: $500 vs. $690 (checked today)

Processor T4300 vs. T6600. T4300 is 2.1GHz dual core with 1MB L2 cache. T6600 is 2.2GHz dual core with 2MB L2 cache.

no flash memory card reader vs. internal card reader (small external USB card readers cost around $20 or less)

no HDMI output vs. HDMI output (both have VGA outputs)

no internal webcam vs. internal webcam (add-on USB webcam costs about $25) (both have internal microphones)

802.11/b/g vs. 802.11/b/g/n wireless (802.11g is more than adequate for broadband internet bandwidth)

Walmart product page says 7200RPM hard disk vs. 5400RPM hard disk in -340US model, but I’m skeptical that this isn’t an error.

A couple weeks ago, i have a problem with my Laptop Toshiba A-105, the laptop’s performance is getting very slow. After trying to find the problem, finally i got the reason why my laptop’s performance has slow loaded. You know what? the internal fan in my laptop has slow speed. I just found that, when i have installed a laptop’s application which can show me the hardware’s performance of my laptop. The application name is Notebook Hardware Control (download link), have a complete information about my laptop hardware’s performance. It will display any information about Laptop’s CPU’s temperature, Laptop’s Cooler Fan speed, Laptop’s Battery performance, Laptop’s Hard Drives temperature, etc.

Finally I have replaced my Cooler Fan inside my laptop, and it’s worked. The laptop’s performance running faster than before. This is the best experience for me since it’s never been happen before. But honestly, I will to say Thank you to the creator of Notebook Hardware Control. Without this software, I may spend my money more than this. Well, if you have the same problem like mine, you can try to find the main reason of this problem by using this free laptop’s software. Hope it can help. Good luck.
